Human Resources Generalist | $25.00/hr | Wentzville, MO | Manufacturing Environment
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for an opportunity supporting a manufacturing operation in Wentzville, Missouri. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is collaborative, proactive, and confident handling employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR program administration in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Participate in the full-cycle recruiting process, including confirming recruiting strategies with HR leadership
• Interview candidates, coordinate offer approvals, and coach managers on recruiting best practices and vendor management
• Support employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations as required
• Organize and manage employee onboarding processes
• Coordinate training and development initiatives
• Administer and execute HR programs including compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, talent management, recognition, and productivity initiatives
• Promote HR programs that support a positive, compliant, and conflict-free workplace
• Provide accurate guidance to employees regarding compensation, benefits, leaves, and HR-related concerns
• Manage and report monthly HR metrics such as attendance and hiring activity
• Maintain training matrices to ensure regulatory, legal, and certification compliance
• Track hourly employee attendance and vacation usage and issue corrective actions when appropriate
• Act as an advisor and coach on sensitive, confidential, and complex HR matters
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and human rights regulations
• Assist with health and safety initiatives, workers’ compensation, and STD/LTD programs as needed
Requirements
• Strong working knowledge of all HR disciplines, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, talent management, compensation, and health and safety
• Previous experience in an ISO/TS 16949 manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Automotive manufacturing industry experience required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, tact, and confidentiality
• Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
