Experienced Diesel Mechanic – Full-Time
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Day Shift
Pay: DOE (Depends on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This position supports the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of construction and industrial rental equipment for a leading equipment rental provider. If you're a dependable technician who takes pride in quality work and enjoys troubleshooting heavy equipment, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered construction and industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, fuel, and engine systems.
Complete preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled services.
Inspect equipment for safety and operational readiness.
Accurately document repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Work efficiently to minimize equipment downtime while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (construction equipment or heavy equipment preferred).
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals and repair documentation.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must provide your own mechanic tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop and outdoor environment.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Schedule & Requirements

Full-time, day shift.
Must be flexible to work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.
