Head Chef – New Restaurant | Spanish Springs, NV
$50,000–$60,000 Starting Salary DOE | Full-Time
We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to take the lead at a new restaurant in the Spanish Springs area specializing in breakfast and lunch service.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in quality and consistency, and is ready to take ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily breakfast and lunch food preparation and service
- Prepare high-quality meals consistently in a restaurant environment
- Manage a busy kitchen serving a high volume of guests
- Lead, train, and support kitchen staff
- Maintain food quality, portion control, presentation, and consistency
- Manage food prep, inventory, ordering, and waste
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow all food-safety standards
- Help establish strong kitchen procedures for the new restaurant
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of professional cooking experience
- Experience preparing meals for large groups/high-volume restaurant service
- Previous lead, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or kitchen management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of breakfast and lunch preparation
- Ability to lead a team and stay organized during busy service
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking ownership of the kitchen
Training:
The selected chef will receive approximately one month of hands-on training with the current chef to learn the menu, recipes, standards, and kitchen operation before taking over the role.
Compensation:
$50,000–$60,000 starting salary, depending on experience
