Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional associates to assist with a one-day data center project. This position involves moving and loading server racks in a warehouse/data center environment. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work and working as part of a team to safely transport and secure equipment.
Responsibilities
- Move and position server racks within a data center environment
- Manually push server racks onto truck trailers
- Secure server racks using straps for transport
- Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
- Work professionally and efficiently with team members and client representatives
- Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the project
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor throughout the shift
- Server racks are on wheels and can weigh between 1,000 lbs. and 2,500 lbs.
- Ability to push, maneuver, and secure heavy equipment safely with a team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following:
- Warehouse Operations
- Logistics
- Moving Industry
- Strong attention to safety procedures
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Professional demeanor and appearance
PPE & Dress Code Requirements
Required PPE:
- Safety shoes (steel-toe preferred)
- Safety vest
- Work gloves
Vests and gloves can be provided if needed.
Dress Code:
- Closed-toe shoes
- Jeans or work pants
- Black t-shirt
- No excessive graphics or offensive language on clothing
- No joggers, sweatpants, sandals, or Crocs
Additional Requirements
- Must bring a government-issued photo ID to the job site.
- Associates are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time for a meet-and-greet and site instructions.
- Professional conduct is required at all times while representing the client on site.
