Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and Drafting Technician to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and proficiency in various drafting software.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare materials estimate to aid customer in costing project.
  • Prepare layouts and detailed drawings for customer approval.
  • Confer with furniture dealers, designers, architects, owners, and others as needed on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Consult with customers, vendors, and co-workers to discuss and formulate estimates.
  • Ensure estimates are developed and delivered in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service.
  • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment to accomplish success oriented results

Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design preferred; not required.
  • 3D modeling experience (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)
  • Experience in Millwork or Casework is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Supply chain experience is highly desirable.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
