We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with experience in menu planning and catering. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards of excellence. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring that meals are nutritious, appealing, and adhere to dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide support in catering events as required, ensuring all food meets the highest standards.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices is essential.
- Experience with menu planning and catering services is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is highly valued.
