JOB PURPOSE
An Industrial Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is needed for overall total productive maintenance (TPM), advanced troubleshooting, and repairs for plant facility & equipment; electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental systems/processes. MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE AND THE ABILITY TO PERFORM REPAIRS.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
1. Assist maintenance team with complex troubleshooting and repairs;
2. Monitor all maintenance service and PM activities, ensuring timely completion;
3. Assist with identification and procurement of vendors, tools, equipment, materials, etc. required for completion of maintenance activities;
4. Assist in the new installation or relocation of equipment, or other maintenance related systems;
5. Assist in implementing initiatives for continuous improvement utilizing a data driven approach;
6. Assist with root cause analysis initiatives, and implementation of equipment related corrective actions;
7. Maintain compliance with all company policies and Health, Safety, and Environmental regulatory requirements;
8. Assist with Layered Process Audits, as well as internal and external certification audits (IATF, TS, and ISO);
9. Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary and appropriate.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education
Required: High School graduate minimum
With initiative to further themselves through educational courses both in house and if deemed outside.
Experience
Required: At least (1) year of on the job training minimum. Ability to take direction and orders and execute them efficiently.
Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multitask.
Previous experience working in a standardized quality environment.

Skills
Required:
1. Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and robotic systems and components.
2. Ability to read and interpret prints.
3. Assist with troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions.
4. Ability to exercise independent judgment.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Experience with business software for production scheduling, inventories & controlled documents.
7. Comfortable managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
8. Team oriented and familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles
9. Ability to interact with fellow employees, customers, and vendors, in a professional manner.
10. Ability to maintain company ethics.
