Process Technician – Molding Department
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Process Technician to support our Molding Department. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient, reliable manufacturing operations through proper setup, monitoring, and continuous improvement of molding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup and Quality Control
- Prepare molding jobs with a strong focus on safety and quality, including resin setup, hydraulic adjustments, and cycle‑time verification. Maintain accurate and complete production documentation.
- Conduct sampling for new or repaired molds, support mold changeovers, and perform basic preventive maintenance on tooling.
- Improve process consistency to reduce scrap and downtime. Identify equipment or process issues and communicate them to engineering for evaluation. Review work orders and ensure operators have correct instructions, materials, and setup information at their workstations.
Qualifications
- Operational Oversight
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; familiarity with molding equipment and basic computer applications. Ability to climb, kneel, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive motions as part of daily tasks. Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and chemicals.
- Must have prior Plastic Injections Mold Technician experience (1 to 3 years)
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 10:40PM to 7:10AM
Pay: $20 - $28/Hr
