responsible for the maintenance and inspection of all powered industrial vehicles used within our facilities, including but not limited to forklifts, manlifts, and company pickup trucks. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a safety-first mindset.
Main Duties:
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, manlifts, and company pickup trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure optimal performance and safety of powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including scheduled and parts inventory.
• Collaborating with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks efficiently, minimizing downtime.
• Other maintenance tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Prior experience repairing engines and heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals.
• Welding/fabricating experience.
