Premier company in Rome is seeking an Administrative/Customer Service Representative Patient Care Associate to be responsible for the following:

Job Summary duties and responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers ascertaining their needs and answering any questions.
  • Assist customers in finding the product that best fits their medical needs.
  • Help stock and maintain the retail sales floor.
  • Possesses a good knowledge of all retail items and maintains high average of sales.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization for equipment or supplies when needed.
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls and be able to manage multiple lines when needed.
  • Return calls within a timely manner, as many calls could be time sensitive.
  • Must maintain highest level of confidentiality and adheres to all company policies regarding confidentiality and HIPAA.
  • Complete paperwork, and orders in a timely manner while completing a high number of sales orders, with low WIP returns.
  • Current with medical policies and qualifications.
  • Knowledge on DME and Respiratory Equipment.
  • All aspects of patient intake and proper input of all information.
  • Understanding medical terminology & being able to read and understand coverage criteria.
  • Follow and understand medical policies to ensure items are covered.
  • Coordinates deliveries and set up of equipment.
  • Ability to operate point of sale.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Strong computer and phone skills, ability to move comfortably between two computer systems to meet job requirements.
  • Self-motivated, organized, ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-pace setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on commitments.
  • Team player, positive attitude
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and keep all work current.
  • All aspects of exceptional Customer Service
  • Must be flexible and able to multi-task switching from one job task to another frequently.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and polices/procedures.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-1pm as scheduled. Willingness to work overtime as requested.
