Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Teller for an opening with a credit union in Morrisville, NC.
We're looking for candidates with a great personality who are detail oriented and professional. Prior Teller experience is required, but our ideal candidate will be interested in opportunities for advancement beyond the Teller role.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $19.00-$22.00/hour. This is a contract-to-hire position, meaning you would start as an employee of Express Employment Professionals, with the goal of converting into a permanent credit union employee after 3 months.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accepting deposits and cashing checks.
- Determining length of check holds and sufficiency of funds in accounts.
- Disbursing withdrawals from accounts after verifying identity.
- Processing line-of-credit advances, Visa payments, advances, and other loan payments.
- Cross-selling credit union products, services and loans.
- Providing information and answering questions in person, through written correspondence, and over the phone.
