Job Full Description
Express is looking for 1st and 2nd Shift Assemblers for a home appliance production facility in New Bern, NC.
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday-Saturday **10 hour shifts**
1st shift: 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM $14.00
2nd Shift: 5:00 PM to 4:30 AM $14.25
Responsibilities:
- Align and assemble pieces to create home appliances such as stoves, ovens, cooktops, in a very fast-paced, repetitive production environment.
- Collect all material and equipment needed to meet daily production needs.
- Ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.
- Maintain all equipment in good condition.
- Report on any production issues or defective parts.
Requirements:
- Must be able to comprehend and follow safety instructions and be able to take directions from a supervisor.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform physically repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must meet background check requirements-no violent felonies or misdemeanors in the last 7 years.
- Must be able to pass drug screening requirements.
- Strong attention to detail to follow manuals, drawings, and schematics precisely.
