Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient picking, packing, and shipping of products. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, materials handling, and safety protocols. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for utilizing various equipment and systems to fulfill orders accurately while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Shift: Monday to Friday, some Saturdays (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) 12 hour shifts

Location: New Bern, NC

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick orders using RF scanners to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Load and unload products from trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, or clamp trucks.
• Operate equipment safely in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Perform quality checks on picked orders to ensure they meet company standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize order picking processes.
• Maintain an organized work area, ensuring all materials are stored properly.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required by the job.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a focus on order picking and distribution.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Experience operating order pickers preferred (Must be comfortable working in heights).
• Must be able to meet background screening and drug testing requirements.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Walking through the warehouse is required, must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Steel toe shoes required.
