Experienced CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background operating CNC machinery, maintaining tight tolerances, and producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other CNC machining equipment according to work instructions and blueprints.• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.• Load materials, tooling, and fixtures into machines and ensure proper machine setup.• Monitor machine performance and make tool or offset adjustments to maintain quality standards.• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.• Maintain close tolerances and ensure parts meet customer specifications.• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and scrap.• Replace worn tooling and perform routine machine maintenance as required.• Accurately complete production documentation and inspection records.• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.• Work effectively with supervisors, programmers, quality personnel, and fellow team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, or similar equipment.• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting techniques.• Proficient with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.• Ability to identify quality issues and make necessary machine adjustments.• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality parts.• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment.• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Siemens, or similar CNC controls.• Ability to perform machine setups and tool changes independently.• Experience with first-piece inspections and quality documentation.• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.• Vocational training or technical education in machining or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.• Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed during machine operation and setup.• Manual dexterity to safely handle tooling, measuring equipment, and machine controls.• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, metal chips, coolants, and varying temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
