Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Assemblers to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Kinston, NC. In this hands-on role, you will assemble custom shipping and packaging solutions. Candidates with experience in assembly, manufacturing, or general labor are encouraged to apply. Multiple shifts are available.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Friday through Sunday: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour, temp-to-hire
Responsibilities
- Assemble packaging and transport structures according to specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and measurements.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Operate tools and equipment safely while following company policies and procedures.
- Identify and report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Dispose of scrap materials and assist with general housekeeping duties.
- Perform work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or related fields.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, or pneumatic tools.
- Ability to read tape measures and work order instructions.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform physically repetitive tasks and work with hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working in a production or warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to meet background check and drug testing requirements.
