Location: Kinston, NC
Pay Rate: $18.56 per hour
Project Dates: August 28, 2026 – September 18, 2026
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and physically capable Heavy Lifters to assist with a short-term project in Kinston, NC for furniture installation. This role involves heavy lifting for unloading, moving, and organizing furniture and equipment throughout the facility. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the worksite
Lift and carry heavy items safely and efficiently
Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
Work collaboratively with team members to complete project tasks
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift, up to 50 lbs independently, or greater with assistance
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move for extended periods in indoor/outdoor environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Prior heavy lifting experience is preferred
Must have steel toe shoes, ability to meet background check requirements.
