Overview
Express is seeking a production technician for a local company in the Aberdeen area. In this role the associate will operate equipment to produce products that are in full compliance with instructions and specifications for the order. The associate will be required to meet production requirements and actively participate in the continuous improvement of the production processes.
Responsibilities
- Pre-plate inspections of all material produced by the wiredraw department. Alert wiredraw operators and supervisor of all non-conforming product
- Identify off-spec plated material
- Setting up machinery for job specifications from job order packets
- Comply to and support all aspects of the quality system
- Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50lbs of steel coil materials
Requirements
- Must have prior forklift experience
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, copper thickness gauges
