Job Full Description
Operate shear machines and forklifts to cut, form, and shape metal parts per blueprints and specifications. Perform basic machine setups with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate shear and other fabrication machines (Brake Press, Turret, Fin Press, etc.).
- Read blueprints and follow work orders.
- Follow all safety procedures (PPE, JSA, 5S).
- Inspect parts for quality and report defects.
- Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office to track production.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
Requirements:
- Forklift and crane operation experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
