Job Full Description
Express is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator for a local company in the Sanford, NC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, helping to ensure that projects are completed within budget and meet client expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining updated knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and materials
- Developing and maintaining cost databases
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks
- Collaborating with project teams during planning and design phases
- Preparing and presenting bid proposals and cost data
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in similar role or Degree in construction management
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction estimating preferred
