Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual for a Fire Watch position on an active welding site. This is a ground-level support role where you will monitor welding activities and assist welders as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain constant visual monitoring during welding operations for fire hazards
Provide hands-on support to welders (e.g., moving materials, holding tools)
Perform some heavy lifting, particularly when handling steel materials
Follow all on-site safety protocols
Requirements:
Must speak and understand English
Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed
We will provide and wear required PPE:
Hard hat
High-visibility safety vest or shirt
Work boots
Safety glasses
Gloves
