Job Full Description
Sun.- Tues. 6 pm to 6am (12hrs. PM))
Position Summary
Operate equipment to produce product that is in full compliance to required product specifications and any instructions appearing on the manufacturing order. Ensure uninterrupted production flow in Assembly process.
Key role responsibilities:
- Consistently meet production rates while meeting all quality and safety standards.
- Responsible for daily preventative maintenance duties for machine.
- Responsible for setting up each job based on requirements on each job packet.
- Comply to and support all aspects of the nVent quality system.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement activities as requested.
- Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.
Qualifications and experience:
- Must either have prior forklift training or be able to receive forklift training.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic skills (reading, writing)
- Blue print reading, basic (simple geometric parts, interpret dimensions)
- Measuring tools, basic (Calipers, Micrometers, Copper Thickness Gauge)
- Basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds. This position requires pulling, lifting, and pushing steel coil material.
- Must communicate well with others.
