Job Full Description
The Construction Material Unloader is responsible for safely unloading, moving, and organizing construction materials and equipment on job sites. This position ensures materials are handled efficiently and placed in the correct locations to support ongoing construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Unload materials such as lumber, steel, concrete panels, piping, and other construction supplies from trucks or trailers.

Use hand tools, dollies, and manual labor to move materials safely and efficiently.

Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor.

Organize and stage materials in designated areas according to project requirements.

Assist with loading outgoing materials or debris removal as needed.

Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure materials are delivered to the right locations at the right times.
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in construction, warehouse, or material handling preferred.

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly.

Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.
Work Environment:
-
Outdoor/Indoor construction sites with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment.

Work may require standing, bending, lifting, and climbing for extended periods.
