Job Full Description
General Laborer
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and potential hazards before, during, and after construction activities.
? Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks; transport materials to appropriate on-site locations.
? Assist with assembling and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding, braces, ramps, and barricades.
? Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth using hand tools or basic machinery to prepare sites for new construction work.
? Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely, including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, and grinders.
? Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc.) with their tasks as needed.
? Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, asphalt, and other construction compounds.
? Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, etc.) at all times.
? Contribute to general site maintenance, including traffic direction, tool organization, and equipment upkeep
