Position Overview
The Furniture Moving Associate is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading furniture and related items for residential and commercial clients. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Safely lift, carry, load, and unload furniture, appliances, and boxes.

Protect customer property through the use of moving pads, straps, shrink wrap, and proper handling techniques.

Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed.

Inspect items for damage before and after moves.

Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and lifting straps.

Assist with packing and unpacking services when required.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving trucks and equipment.

Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and property damage.

Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Complete move paperwork, inventory lists, and job reports accurately.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior moving, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus.

Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including weekends.

Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) is preferred; ability to drive a box truck is a plus.
