Job Full Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manual Labor: packing, lifting, and stacking.
- Promotion of a safe work environment for all employees and visitors
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the picking, receiving, and storage of materials.
- Responsible for the efficient utilization of space and organization of the warehouse and maintain order and systemization of inventory.
- Supervision of approximately ten employees to include scheduling, daily activities, training, retention, and performance management.
- Develop warehouses operations policies and procedures and communicate information to warehouse staff.
- Maintain standards of health, safety, and security in the warehouse. Including communicating and enforcing company safety policies and safe work habits.
- Responsible for the maintenance of machinery, and equipment in the warehouse.
- Communicate with senior leadership on the status of the warehouse operations.
- Responsible for the quality, accuracy, and customer service provided to internal customers through the warehouse operations.
- Create, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading warehouse management.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during work hours.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Extremely proficient with MS Excel and other MS Office solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience manufacturing.
- Experience and utilization of continuous improvement principles, including lean manufacturing, 5 “S”, Six Sigma, or others.
- Strong leadership: train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
- Ability to evaluate work performance and motivate behavior change when necessary.
- Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
