Job Full Description
Landscaping Crew Lead/ Foreman Oversees and assist with the installation of landscape, irrigation and hardscapes, proper upkeep of established landscaping, etc. for commercial and residential properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Performing all aspects of the installation of irrigation systems and various water features, drainage systems, retaining walls, fabric, sod, decorative rock, mulch, etc.
· Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors
· Prepare time sheets or other daily paperwork as required by the company
· Inspect materials and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and report appropriately
· Performs all job-related tasks safely and efficiently and use all tools and equipment in accordance with company safety policy
· Operate light to heavy equipment, power tools and hand tools, such as backpack blowers, other gas-powered equipment, skid steer, trencher, excavator or vehicle
· Works to assure quality and timely completion of all tasks assigned
· Report daily to operations supervisor on what has been completed and what needs to be completed
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years landscaping experience preferred
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work
· Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, if in a driving position
· Ability to lift 50lbs or more on a daily basis
· Ability to interact professionally with all customers, employees and vendors
· Bilingual-Spanish, preferred
