Job Summary:
We are seeking two dependable Packaging Associates to join our team. This role focuses heavily on accurately applying plastic bands to tape rolls as a critical step in the packaging and production process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to maintain consistency, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Apply plastic bands to tape rolls with precision and consistency (primary responsibility)
- Ensure bands are properly secured and meet quality standards before processing
- Inspect tape rolls for defects prior to and after banding
- Place properly banded tape rolls onto the conveyor for oven processing
- Maintain a steady workflow to meet daily production targets
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Report any product or equipment issues to a supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Must meet background check requirements
