Job Full Description
OVERVIEW
Seeking a Fence Installer to join our growing team. This role involves assisting with fence installations, preparing job sites, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently according to company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Foreman with preparation and installation activities
• Read and understand job paperwork and specifications
• Gather, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Prepare work areas by clearing debris, marking boundaries, and assessing terrain
• Measure and properly lay out job sites
• Assist with installation of company products according to specifications and safety guidelines
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing fence products
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use PPE
• Perform other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous construction, fencing, or related experience preferred
• Ability to use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and post hole diggers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with measurements and alignment
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on job sites
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Willingness to learn and participate in training as needed
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50–70 pounds
• Must have physical strength, balance, coordination, and stamina to complete outdoor work
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
