Job Full Description
The Machinist ensures the correct operation of machining, automation and washing equipment and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain 5 axis, twin spindle CNC machines
- Operate and maintain robots & automation equipment
- Operate and maintain automated washing machine
- Participate in machine cleaning, 5S activities on a daily basis
- Enter production, scrap, downtime and other data into computer systems on daily basis
- Read blueprints, understand dimensions and tolerances, GD&T
- Use dimensional gauging to measure and document part dimensions
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of machining experience
- Experience using power and hand tools.
