Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and production efficiency in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems while ensuring safe and continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain and repair industrial machinery, CNC machines, conveyors, pumps, motors, compressors, and related equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical training preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems is a plus.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work around industrial machinery.
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
