Job Full Description
OVERVIEW
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility. The position focuses primarily on cleaning and sanitation, with basic maintenance duties as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize offices, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, desks, counters, doors, windows, and other surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment.
- Clean and restock restrooms with paper products, soap, and other supplies.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
- Follow proper procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move supplies.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
- Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
- Basic maintenance skills are a plus.
- Must follow safety and sanitation procedures.
