Job Overview: The Tubing Mill Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of tubing mill machinery to produce high-quality tubing products according to specifications. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our tubing manufacturing processes. Leadership background is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup:
- Configure and set up the tubing mill machine based on job specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve the desired dimensions and tolerances for tubing.
- Material Handling:
- Load raw materials onto the tubing mill machine and ensure a continuous and smooth material flow.
- Monitor material levels and replenish as needed.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks on produced tubing to ensure they meet specifications.
- Make adjustments to the machine as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance on the tubing mill machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and address any issues that may arise during the production process.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.
- Production Documentation:
- Record production data, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
- Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Tubing Mill Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of tubing mill machines.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to Detail:
- Precision and attention to detail to produce tubing within specified tolerances.
- Quality-conscious approach to work.
- Physical Fitness:
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Stamina and endurance for extended periods of machine operation.
- Typical Warehouse Environment-Cold in the winter and hot in the summer (Warehouse doors open all the time)
- Team Player:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets.
