Job Full Description
A Fargo, ND construction retail office is seeking a Temporary Showroom Receptionist to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This position is expected to begin mid-April and run for approximately 12 weeks.
This role will serve as the first point of contact for customers and vendors, managing the front desk and welcoming visitors into the showroom. The majority of the position involves answering phones, directing calls, and assisting walk-in customers by connecting them with the appropriate team members. The role will also provide light administrative support to the back-office team.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20 – $22/hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the showroom reception area, greeting customers and vendors as they arrive

Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate team members

Assist walk-in customers by connecting them with the correct department or staff member

Support the administrative team with general office tasks

Match invoice numbers with work orders

Assist with processing vendor payments

Maintain organized records and help keep the front office running smoothly
Qualifications:

Friendly, professional, and highly personable with strong customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable managing a high volume of phone calls and customer interactions

Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment
