Construction Buisiness Development
- Location: Fargo, ND
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (hours may vary)
- Pay Rate: $110K - $135K+ (DOE) + Full Benefits
Responsibilities
- Market Development: Enhance market position and achieve financial growth by identifying business opportunities and closing deals.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, meeting with key decision-makers to understand industry trends and project needs.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and present regional sales strategies that align with corporate goals, including preparing proposals and budgets.
- Reporting: Provide weekly updates on new project opportunities and the status of ongoing projects.
- Networking: Attend industry events to gather insights and establish connections.
- Moderate travel required: Will vary, but 30% approximately
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or related fields, with leadership training preferred. Commercial construction background preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and Word; ability to learn relevant software tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with variety of high level clients.
- Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with drafting, estimating, and engineering principles.

- Proactive and competitive nature with a desire to excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.
- Responsible and accountable for actions.
- Need to be based in Fargo area.
