Overview: We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts for a hotel. This role involves securing new accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients for group business, including room and F&B sales.
- Attend networking events and community meetings to generate leads.
- Conduct site tours for potential clients.
- Manage a customer database and develop contracts.
- Oversee the departmental budget and monitor sales performance.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
- Familiarity with major hotel brand sales processes.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to meet clients, including weekends.
