Director of Finance
Position Summary:
The Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and procedures. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. The Director of Finance will work independently under the general direction of the Executive Director and collaborate with various departments to maintain financial efficiency and integrity.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage and oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with OMB Circular A-110, A-122, A-133, and Uniform Guidance 2 CFR Part 200.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain organizational efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure maximum efficiency in the use of time, materials, equipment, and vehicles.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with OMB Circular A-110, A-122, A-133, and Uniform Guidance 2 CFR Part 200.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently under the general direction of the Executive Director.

- Leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Maintains maximum efficiency in the use of time, materials, equipment, and vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
