Position: Office Harvest Supervisor
Location: Bay City, Michigan
Classification: Non-exempt, Seasonal
Reports to: Harvest Project Manager
Overview:
We are looking for a Harvest Supervisor to support our seasonal operations. This role is responsible for coordinating staffing at assigned client locations during the Sugar Beet Harvest. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients are fully staffed and supported while also working directly with associates to maintain a safe and effective work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Harvest Staffing Coordination:

Conduct interviews and assess applicant skills and availability
-
Organize and process job applications and paperwork
-
Assign associates to appropriate roles and communicate key job details
-
Conduct job orientations and maintain crewing lists
-
Monitor associate performance and address issues as needed
-
Provide counseling or disciplinary action as necessary
-
Terminate unsatisfactory associates when appropriate
-
Maintain positive relationships with both associates and client staff
-
Support housing/campground coordination for associates (if applicable)
Project Support:
-
Assist with setting up and closing satellite office(s)
-
Maintain accurate inventories of application forms and documentation
-
Communicate daily updates with Harvest Project Management

Ensure a clean and organized workspace

Review Workamper arrival information
Other:
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
-
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities
-
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
-
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
-
Basic 10-key and typing skills
-
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-
Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
-
Comfortable working both indoors and occasionally outdoors at client sites
Preferred Skills:

Prior staffing, recruiting, or supervisory experience

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Experience handling performance issues in a professional setting
