Facility Maintenance


Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch.
Pay: $24–$27/hour, negotiable based on experience.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facility Maintenance II technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance duties including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial electrical work and a strong background in facility and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote all safety procedures and perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

  • Operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Support inventory management of tools, parts, and equipment.

  • Conduct minor repairs in building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

  • Perform fabrication, welding, and basic machinist duties.

  • Troubleshoot and repair facility systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).

  • Read and interpret manuals and work orders; diagnose issues and complete repairs.

  • Carry out preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, grounds, and facilities.

  • Identify and report faulty operations, defective material, or unusual conditions.

  • Maintain clean, orderly work areas.

  • Clean and maintain air filters in the data center.

  • Communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors, and other departments.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of manufacturing or maintenance experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

  • Exposure to industrial electrical work required; PLC and HVAC experience preferred.

  • High school diploma/GED plus completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent education/experience.

  • Proficiency with hand tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, lawn equipment, etc.

  • Comfortable using email and basic office software.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to take direction.

  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
