Job Summary:
Express Employment is seeking a motivated and dedicated Program & Volunteer Coordinator to manage and support all aspects of volunteer engagement and food distribution programs. This includes overseeing food distribution activities such as CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food Program), backpack programs, mobile distributions, and produce. The Program & Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with volunteers, assist with recruitment, orientation, training, and recognition efforts, and ensure the efficient operation of all programs and services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Collect and maintain data relevant to food distribution programs and ensure timely reporting.

Complete required program forms and maintain accurate documentation for all distribution activities.

Collaborate with warehouse and office teams to facilitate timely and efficient service delivery.

Address any program-related issues, communicating effectively with staff and volunteers.

Conduct tours for visitors and volunteers when requested.

Attend community events, fairs, campaigns, and other activities to promote volunteer opportunities.

Coordinate volunteer and site participation in various food distribution events.

Assist with packing, repacking, and labeling duties for food programs, including CSFP, backpack, and mobile distributions.

Ensure that the work environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained for smooth operations.

Provide assistance to staff as needed with various projects.

Operate warehouse equipment, as required.

Offer exceptional customer service related to program functions.

Communicate any security gaps, safety issues, or concerns to the Operations and Executive Directors.

Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistical support.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs as needed.

Proficiency in standard office management practices, including record keeping, prioritization, and the use of office equipment and software (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Access).

Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in record-keeping.
