Are you a strategic HR leader ready to make a real impact? One of the region’s most dynamic manufacturing organizations is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead site HR operations, shape workplace culture, and partner with leadership to drive organizational success. This is a high-visibility role where your expertise in employee relations, compliance, and HR strategy will directly influence the company’s growth and success.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all aspects of HR operations, ensuring smooth processes, compliance, and exceptional service for employees and managers.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership on workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, attracting and retaining top talent for key roles.

  • Oversee employee and labor relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and collaboration with unionized teams.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, programs, and practices that promote fairness, consistency, and engagement.

  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities.

  • Mentor and grow HR team members, creating a high-performing, supportive department.

  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Learning & Development, and Safety teams to ensure seamless HR support.

  • Manage the HR department budget and contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification is a plus.

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or supervisory roles.

  • Strong experience in unionized environments and handling complex employee relations.

  • Proven expertise in HR operations, HRIS systems, compliance, and policy development.

  • Solid understanding of employment law and regulatory frameworks.

  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

  • High integrity and a passion for fostering a positive, inclusive workplace.

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial settings preferred.
