General Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service employment agency, is partnering with a North Dakota business to fill a Tanker Driver position in the Reynolds area. Tanker Drivers are responsible for transporting agricultural commodities, aggregate materials, biodesel, and asphalt oil while complying with all DOT and company regulations and rules. Travel into Canada will be required. Drivers will be expected to manage routes and routines to ensure they proceed in the most efficient way possible. A Class A CDL in good standing with a Tanker Endorsement (Or ability to obtain one within one week of employment) will be required. A passport and current DOT Medical Card as well. All candidates must have no serious tickets or accidents in the past 5 years nor any DWI/DUI charges in the past 10 years. Do you have the skill required for this position? Duties:
- Transport agricultural commodities, aggregate materials, biodiesel, and asphalt oil
- Comply with all DOT and company regulations and rules
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle(s) and report any problems or damage to supervisor
- Observe and report equipment/mechanical failures immediately
- Manage routes and routines to ensure efficiency of said tasks
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and public
Requirements:
- Class A CDL in good standing. (No DWI/DUI in past 10 years, no tickets/accidents in past 5)
- Tanker Endorsement (or ability to obtain one within one week of employment)
- Passport
- Current DOT Medical Card
- 2+ years commercial driving experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Verifiable work history
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to work well with others and onsite supervisors
- Basic machine operating skills
Hours: Monday-Friday
Salary: $52,000+DOE
