Service Writer
Location: Grand Forks, ND
Pay: $20–$25/hour (DOE)
We are seeking a Service Writer to join a fast-paced automotive service center. This role is the primary point of contact for customers and plays a key part in ensuring efficient service operations and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities

Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs

Create accurate service orders and explain recommended services, pricing, and timelines

Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians

Process invoices, payments, and service documentation

Provide updates to customers throughout the service process
Requirements

1–2 years of customer service experience (automotive or service environment preferred)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a high-volume setting

Basic knowledge of automotive services (tires, oil changes, preventative maintenance preferred)
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in a shop environment
