Job Full Description
Provide strategic and hands-on leadership over all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, tax, benefits, compliance, and risk management. This role partners closely with executive leadership to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and long-term financial health across all entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and financial operations, including reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for leadership and banking partners
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and collections
- Manage payroll processing, PTO accruals, compensation reporting, and payroll compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax and regulatory requirements, including sales tax and annual filings
- Oversee employee benefits administration, open enrollment, and COBRA
- Manage risk management, insurance programs, and OSHA compliance
- Oversee contracts, vendor management, and certification tracking
- Provide financial reporting to external agencies and support audits and regulatory reviews
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, supporting financial planning and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5 years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, tax, and compliance
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leader with strong analytical and communication skill
