Mill Assistant
Pay: $22.00 – $25.90 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Location: East Grand Forks MN
About the Role
Express Employment is partnering with a local East Grand Forks company who is hiring a Mill Assistant to support their milling operations. You’ll help process grains into various fractions, package products, and prepare shipments. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires attention to detail and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and document production and maintenance activities for mill and warehouse equipment

Monitor and adjust milling machinery to meet specifications

Conduct quality testing per customer and company standards

Clean and sanitize mill, flaker room, and facilities for food safety compliance
-
Execute mill changeovers to maintain production schedules
-
Assist with maintenance and document activities

Communicate effectively with other departments

Train team members as needed

Perform other duties assigned by plant management
Requirements

High School Diploma required
-
Experience in food manufacturing preferred
-
Forklift operation experience

Mechanical diagnostic skills
