Seasonal Harvest Truck Driver
Location: Mekinock, ND
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Start Date: August 3
Assignment Length: Seasonal/Temporary – Through the first week of September
Job Summary
Express Employment is seeking reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Harvest Truck Drivers to assist with wheat harvest operations. This position will involve hauling wheat and straw bales within a local area while supporting daily farm operations during the busy harvest season. Schedule
- Approximately 10:00 AM – 9:00/10:00 PM
- Hours may vary depending on harvest conditions, weather, and operational needs
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks to haul wheat during harvest season
- Drive within approximately a 20-mile radius of the farm
- Assist with hauling straw bales as needed
- Complete daily truck operations while following all farm safety procedures
- Perform routine checks and ensure safe operation of equipment
- Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance schedule throughout the harvest season
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL is not required
- Previous driving experience required
- Ability to safely get in and out of trucks throughout the workday
- Must be dependable and willing to work extended hours during harvest
- Farm or agricultural experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation to and from Mekinock, ND required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, drive, and operate trucks for extended periods
- Ability to climb in and out of trucks frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
