General Laborer – Roofing Job Site
Pay $22.00Hr
Locations: Grand Forks AFB, ND and Rapid City, SD
Schedule: M-F 7am-5pm Until Nov.
Position Overview
Express is looking for two dependable, hard-working General Laborers to support a roofing job site. The client is specifically looking for two of our best people who are reliable, motivated, and able to work well in a construction environment.
Essential Duties
- Clean and maintain the job site.
- Remove garbage and debris from the work area.
- Move and organize materials around the job site.
- Assist the roofing crew with general labor and job-site support.
- Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
- Follow directions from the site supervisor and roofing crew.
- Perform other general labor duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be dependable and have a strong attendance record.
- Must be comfortable performing physical labor outdoors.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials.
- Construction or roofing experience is helpful but not required.
- Must be willing to work as part of a team and follow safety instructions.
- Must be eligible to access the base.
Screening & Base Access
- No drug screen is required.
- Express does not need to run a background check for this position.
- Candidates must still be eligible for base access.
- Candidates will be required to complete the base security/access form provided by the client.
- Per the base security requirements outlined on the form, individuals with major felony convictions may not be permitted access to the base.
- The security form must be completed and submitted to the client ASAP so the base-access process can begin.
Important: Not requiring an Express background check does not automatically mean a candidate will be approved for base access. Base access is determined according to the requirements on the security form.
