DIRECT HIRE – Machine Operator (2nd & 3rd Shift)
Food Manufacturing | Full Benefits Day 1
$22/hr + $2/hr Shift Differential | 100% Employer-Paid Benefits

As a Canning Operator, you’ll play a critical role on a high-performing production team, operating modern canning and powder packaging equipment in a clean, GMP-driven environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing things right the first time.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and monitor high-speed canning and powder packaging equipment
- Set up, run, and maintain filling, seaming, and packing machinery
- Follow SOPs to ensure product quality, efficiency, and consistency
- Perform routine quality checks (labeling, coding, seals, weight verification)
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and take corrective action
- Perform maintenance and repairs using proper lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
- Complete batch work orders accurately (Batch Correct First Time)
- Lift and handle materials weighing 55 lbs or more
- Provide backup support for alternate canning operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred
(Infant formula experience is a plus)
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to a safety-first culture
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with urgency
- Flexibility to work overnights, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, kneel, and work with tools for 8–10 hour shifts
