Armando Castro’s story is rooted in grit, ambition, and opportunity. Born in the Philippines, he came to the U.S. with big dreams and an early sense of responsibility. While still in junior high school, Armando attended classes in the morning and worked after school selling Pop Rocks candy business-to-business to help support his family—an early lesson in hustle, sales, and perseverance.
With more than 35 years of experience in staffing and recruiting, Armando has built his career from the ground up. He put himself through college, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business and an MBA, and began at the entry level—learning the business firsthand and earning every step forward. At VXI Global Solutions, he worked his way up from the bottom and played a key role in scaling the company from a startup into a global enterprise with 35,000+ employees across five countries.
Today, as the owner of Express Employment Professionals, Armando is driven by a simple belief: the right job can change a life, and the right hire can transform a business. He brings discipline, empathy, and real-world leadership to every partnership.
