Milling Operator – Johnstown, Oh
Location: Johnstown, OH
Pay: $22–$25 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:30PM to 10:00PM
Employment Type: Full‑Time
A growing facility is seeking a dependable Milling Operator to support daily production. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands‑on work, consistent routines, and a clean, safety‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate grinding and milling equipment to achieve required particle sizes
- Monitor equipment performance, temperature, and throughput
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and consistency
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Inspect product to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Document production data and report deviations or mechanical issues
- Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in powder processing, milling, or manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of air classification or sieving systems is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Comfortable working in a dusty environment with PPE
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
