Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from the Foreman/Owner
• Perform general landscaping duties (e.g., planting, trimming, weeding)
• Maintain plant health through watering, potting, and arranging
• Assist with plant care and upkeep at the retail store
• Help customers load and unload plants
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas
• Ride with the team to job sites as needed

• Healthy, well-maintained plants and clean, organized workspaces
• Satisfied customers through helpful and friendly service
• Efficient and timely completion of landscaping tasks

Skills Required:

• Ability to work with hands and tools
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Comfortable with physical tasks: bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, crouching
• Teamwork and customer service orientation

Experience Preferred:

• Lawn maintenance, gardening, or plant care experience is a plus but not required

Qualities Desired:

• Punctual, dependable, and able to work in hot outdoor conditions
• Willingness to learn and follow directions

Education Requirements:

• No formal education required; experience in related fields is preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and moving plants

Equipment Used:

• Shovels, snippers, rakes, spades, and other garden tools

Travel:

• May travel to job sites in a company vehicle with the Foreman

Challenges:

• Outdoor work in heat and varying weather conditions
